What Happened? Equifax Hacked!

We are now familiar with hearing bad news about corporations being infected by malicious software or hackers who want to breach network security. It is a surprise that something this big hasn’t happened before.

We’ve seen major retailers and credit card companies hit by hackers, but Equifax hacked is on an entirely new level of a security breach. Equifax Inc. is an American multinational consumer credit reporting agency that collects information about individuals' credit history. This company is one of the 3 largest consumer reporting agencies, along with TransUnion and Experian. It's really unfortunate how Equifax hacked and how hackers have stolen data from Equifax.

Equifax hacked incident definitely affected millions of U.S. consumers. Equifax reports that the names, social security numbers, birthdates, and addresses of more than 143 million people have been compromised. What's even worst? some customer's credit card numbers have also been stolen.
