Electronic Recycling is also known as "e-waste recycling". As the name suggests, this is the process of re-using electronic parts of old or unused equipment, appliances, gadgets, computers, and a lot more. A lot of materials of these electronic devices like metal, plastic, and glass can be recovered, re-use, and recycled.
Electronic Recycling helps our environmental issue by decreasing the demand to use raw materials by using what we already have. These electronic parts also contain toxic substances like mercury, lead, zinc, and brominated flame retardants to name a few that is dangerous not only to us but also to our environment that requires a proper way of disposal.
It's crucial that we participate in electronic recycling because most of us are using electronic devices that have an average life span of only 2-5 years. Can you imagine how much electronic waste is that and only a small portion of it gets recycled?
Everyone has some old computers or electronic devices collecting dust in a dark corner somewhere. Most people hang on to old electronics because they don’t know what to do with them.

It is very important to dispose of all electronics properly. It’s why we offer this service to everyone! We want to make sure we’re doing what we can to take care of the environment.
What about my personal data?
It is important to keep security in mind when it comes to electronic recycling. That is why we take the utmost precautions when it comes to your data. We wipe all recycled hard drives in our shop using DoD 5220.22-M and US Army AR380-19 standards and protocol.
That means all personal data that comes into the shop for electronic recycling will be completely destroyed! Not only do we wipe the data using several different methods, but we also physically destroy the hard drives. Rest assured, your data is secure with us!
So please, if you have any old computers or electronic devices to recycle, come by our shop and drop them off! We would be more than happy to take them off your hands. Clear out that space they’ve been taking up.
